4/29/02 Sorry guys. All of you at college, you probably understand the stress at this time of year; I really can't dedicate the time to a fanfic part at this point in my schedule for fear of snapping my brain in half. The amount of work I have to do in the next two weeks is ... staggering, honestly. I'm taking it slow to keep from going into nervous breakdown, but on that note, I really had to decide what projects to put aside until after the work rush I'm in right now. Yes, the fanfic part/update has to be postponed. I'm sorry. *sniff* At least last update completed a lot of the stuff I've wanted done for some time, so the page won't be in too bad a rut while I'm gone. I'm surprised to see not many people visiting the new Writing and Publishing page I put up, considering the number of e-mails I got asking the very questions I answer on that page. But, then again, it's not too surprising if my overall hit count comes down with the number of times my updates get put off. ^_^ But enough rambling. My trip to Syria I mentioned a while ago ended up postponed AGAIN, so I slept through that week and rescheduled it for the second half of May. That means I won't be around May 10-June 1st, for any of you who e-mail me. I'll be back here for an update on June 14th, with the next part of Blue Planet, White Moon, cleaned-up e-mail, and probably the next Amateur Author Dedication. Thanks, as always, for your patience. There will be much discussed on June 14th regarding stuff coming up this summer (some great stuff I can't announce now because the confirmations are still pending, but I'm dying to tell all of you ... ^_^). Hope to see you then! 4/02/02 HAHAHAHA! YES! SUCCESSFUL UPDATE! *dances merrily* It took much work over quite a long period of time, and I'm sorry I'm a few days late, but I finally got up the new pics and did (most) of the big fat update I wanted! Biggest new addition: Writing and Publishing page, which contains quite a stash of info on publishing and writing in general. I've received tons of e-mails over the years asking the very questions I answer on that page, so please don't hesitate to check it out! Sidebar's been updated and includes that new page as well as the Islam page (which right now carries the short piece I wrote after Sept. 11th). I got quite a bit of feedback regarding it when it went up, and I figured it needed a permanent home. Fanfiction - Intro and Help page updated with new info and links--go see, good stuff--and Wishing Star Books, Sailor Moon Novels, and About Me all feature information updates. Information updates and new pictures on the Main Page and Amateur Author Dedications. All the broken links I could find throughout the pages have been fixed, so there should be no more problems with that. Last but not least, Sailor Moon Fanfiction updated with new information, a new picture, a new page for The Wacky Adventures of Psycho Setsuna (considering that page badly needed just the basic facelift all the other story pages got almost a year ago; by the way, I'm thinking of doing a special anniversary thing for that story considering its two-year birthday is coming up and it still receives good feedback), and, of course, Blue Planet, White Moon Part 8. Part 8 is a little longer than usual, but it's mostly just action, and I personally didn't like the way it was written.... but I leave the judgments up to you. Several very important plot points occur, at least, so the story has finally started moving. ^_^ I'm sorry about last update, if it, y'know put anyone in a bad mood. Yes, when I did it I was feeling quite poorly, and I'm glad I took the time off between that update and this one to cool my head. There are some things that bother me--stuff not working out despite my efforts, school keeping me from putting time into things I actually want to do, etc.--but nothing bothers me more than not being able to concentrate and accomplish stuff. That's been a problem as of late, but now I'm finally getting over it, and now that this update's done I feel much better. *lets out breath* Thanks for putting up with me. ^_^ April's my e-mail month, so I'll be catching up on the ridiculous number of backed-up messages I still have. Next update will be April 30th, with Part 9 of Blue Planet, White Moon and information updates. See you then! |
